Senior Oracle DBA – L3 Support
Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu (India)
Experience: 9+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA (L3 Support) to join our enterprise database operations team. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and stability of mission‑critical applications, while leading incident management and proactive database improvements.
Key Skills & Expertise
- 9+ years of experience in Oracle DBA roles
- Minimum 3+ years in L3 Production Support
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c, 12c, 11g
- Expertise in RAC (Clustering) and Data Guard
- Proven experience in:
- Performance tuning
- Backup & recovery
- Shell scripting
- Leading technical bridge/incident calls
- Exadata / ExaCC experience (minimum 3+ years)
- Working knowledge of MongoDB, MSSQL Server, BigQuery, SQL Server for Cloud, GoldenGate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Lead database engagement during major incident bridges for critical applications
- Own and manage a queue of support requests and escalations
- Troubleshoot complex and unbounded issues to drive root-cause resolution
- Act as a subject matter expert for database usage for cross-functional and non-technical teams
- Collaborate with Unix, Storage, and Network teams to ensure end-to-end resolution
- Drive initiatives focused on:
- Database hygiene
- Proactive improvements
- Migrations and modernization projects
