Job Overview
SKillCircle is looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Operations Manager to oversee the company’s day-to-day operational activities and ensure smooth coordination across departments. The role involves managing operational efficiency, tracking hiring updates with HR, handling batch creation and inventory, onboarding vendors, and optimizing operational costs.
The ideal candidate should be a strong executor who can streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure operational excellence across the organization
Key Responsibilities.
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across departments and centers.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, marketing, HR, and academic teams.
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure targets are achieved.
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvement strategies.
2. Hiring & HR Coordination
- Take regular hiring updates from HR.
- Track hiring pipelines and ensure positions are filled on time.
- Monitor onboarding and integration of new employees.
- Provide hiring reports and manpower updates to leadership.
3. Batch Management
- Manage batch creation and scheduling across centers.
- Monitor batch inventory and seat utilization.
- Ensure proper allocation of trainers and classrooms.
- Optimize batch capacity and utilization.
4. Operational Efficiency
- Improve operational efficiency across departments.
- Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
- Introduce automation and systems to improve productivity.
5. Vendor Onboarding & Management
- Handle vendor onboarding and vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
- Identify vendors who can reduce operational costs.
6. Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities for price cutting and cost reduction.
- Optimize operational expenses without affecting quality.
- Ensure better utilization of company resources.
7. Reporting & Leadership
- Provide weekly operational reports to the CEO.
- Track key operational metrics and share insights.
- Conduct review meetings with department heads.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in operations management.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and operational processes.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
