Job Description
Truelancer is looking for an AI Delivery Manager who can manage and deliver AI data/AI experts - related projects at scale. The role requires someone who can coordinate with clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, quality control, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing AI, data annotation, data labeling, content moderation, voice/audio, or similar large-scale delivery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of AI data / AI experts related projects across multiple workflows.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, quality expectations, and delivery milestones.
- Work closely with sourcing, operations, QA, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
- Track project progress, identify delivery risks, and take corrective actions proactively.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained through proper review, feedback, and escalation processes.
- Handle large freelancer/vendor teams and ensure productivity at scale.
- Prepare regular project updates, reports, dashboards, and delivery summaries for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support process improvement, SOP creation, and workflow optimization for recurring projects.
- Act as the bridge between client expectations and internal execution teams.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in project delivery, operations, or client management, preferably in AI/data services.
- Understanding of AI data workflows such as annotation, labeling, QA, transcription, content review, voice/audio, or data collection.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, teams, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing freelancers, vendors, or distributed teams will be preferred.
Preferred Background
- Experience in AI data operations, managed delivery, outsourcing, staffing, or platform-based freelancer execution.
- Leading delivery of projects for top frontier AI labs will be strongly preferred.
- Exposure to tools like Google Sheets, Excel, project trackers, CRM, annotation tools, or workflow management platforms.
- Prior experience handling client communication and delivery escalations.
