Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for the position of Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager will oversee daily logistics and operational processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing supply chain activities, optimizing resource allocation, analyzing operational data for efficiency improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain service excellence. The role requires strong decision-making and people management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment to ensure seamless operations for clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in logistics systems and supply chain management techniques, along with experience in using multi-modal transport services
- Skills in data analysis, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvement
- Proven leadership and people management experience, including team coordination and strategic planning
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with industry regulations and a commitment to quality compliance
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree is advantageous
