Role Description The Senior Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring smooth delivery of digital marketing services and cross-functional coordination. This full-time on-site role, based in Netherlands, includes managing workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing processes that support scalability and high-quality client outcomes. The Senior Operations Manager will own project tracking, performance reporting, and operational KPIs, while collaborating closely with leadership to align operations with business targets and client expectations. Responsibilities also include building and mentoring the operations team, improving SOPs, supporting hiring decisions, and driving continuous improvement in efficiency, turnaround times, and client experience. The role requires regular collaboration with stakeholders, problem-solving around bottlenecks, and ensuring that systems and tools are used effectively across the agency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a digital marketing, agency, or high-growth startup environment.
- Strong skills in process design, workflow optimization, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion, or similar).
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (ads, SEO, content, design) and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Competence in data analysis, reporting, and using KPIs to guide decisions and improve operational performance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
- Experience in resource planning, capacity management, and basic budgeting or cost management for operations.
- Comfort with fast-paced, founder-led environments and a mindset focused on efficiency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Previous experience leading small-to-mid sized teams, including mentoring, performance feedback, and hiring support.
