- Strong hands-on experience with: o OpenText Archive Center o OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM o SAP ArchiveLink o SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management)

The OpenText Archival Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale archival and document management solutions using OpenText products. The role involves leading technical teams, collaborating with business and SAP stakeholders, and ensuring compliant, high-performance, and scalable archival architectures. Roles and Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of OpenText Archival solutions including: o OpenText Archive Center o OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM o SAP ILM and SAP ArchiveLink integrations
- Define archival strategies for structured and unstructured data in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and scalability of archival systems. Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end implementation of OpenText Archival projects from requirement analysis to go live.
- Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of OpenText Archival components.
- Drive integrations with SAP ECC / S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and third party systems.
- Ensure proper data migration, retention policies, and lifecycle management. Team Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor a team of OpenText consultants and developers.
- Review technical designs, configurations, and deliverables.
- Enforce best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business users, SAP teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
- Translate business and compliance requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to data retention and archiving. Operations & Support
- Provide Level 3 support for production issues related to archiving and document management.
- Monitor system health, storage usage, and performance metrics.
- Define and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Preferred Qualifications
- OpenText certification(s) in Archiving or Extended ECM.
- Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, pharma).
- Exposure to digital transformation and content modernization initiatives.
