Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and schedule raw material requirements based on production forecasts to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
· Lead rate negotiations for raw materials and manage long-term procurement contracts through comprehensive RFQ processes.
· Raise and track import purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier follow-up and adherence to delivery schedules.
· Monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory.
· Negotiate competitive rates for international logistics and freight forwarding services, ensuring cost-effective and timely shipments.
· Manage warehousing operations with controls for efficient storage and dispatch of imported goods. Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
· Ensure all import activities comply with applicable laws, customs regulations, and internal audit standards. Proactively identify supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.
· Oversee preparation of shipping documents, LC (Letter of Credit) compliance, bill of entry, and other import-related paperwork. Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records and generate regular performance reports.nd reporting
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Commerce, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus
