We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer with strong expertise in designing,
developing, and implementing Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of
Odoo architecture, custom module development, and system integrations. Experience in Jewellery
ERP implementation or retail/manufacturing ERP solutions will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications based on business requirements.
Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, including requirement analysis, development,
and deployment.
Develop custom modules, workflows, reports, and integrations within the Odoo framework.
Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, payment gateways, APIs, and external platforms.
Optimize Odoo performance and ensure system scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business teams, and project managers to translate
requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior Odoo developers.
Handle data migration, system upgrades, and version migrations across Odoo releases.
Maintain documentation for developed features and system architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software development with at least 5+ years working with Odoo ERP.
Strong expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework.
Experience in Odoo module development, customization, and API integrations.
Proficiency in XML, QWeb, JavaScript, and Odoo ORM.
Hands-on experience with Odoo versions (v12–v17 preferred).
Strong understanding of ERP concepts (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchase).
Experience with Git version control and Agile development practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing Jewellery ERP solutions (inventory, barcoding, purity management, weight-based pricing, etc.).
Knowledge of retail or manufacturing domain ERP systems.
Experience with Odoo.sh or cloud deployments.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and server management.
Experience with POS, eCommerce, or mobile integrations.
Education
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Nice to Have
Experience in multi-company and multi-warehouse Odoo environments.
Exposure to BI reporting tools or advanced analytics integrated with Odoo.
Certification in Odoo development or ERP technologies.
