We are Australia based Company called LinkDM. We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role requires a problem-solver with strong logical thinking and excellent communication skills.
Experience designing and developing public or partner-facing APIs for SaaS products is huge plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Design and implement APIs, including GraphQL, to support front-end functionalities.
- Manage and optimize databases, particularly MongoDB, utilizing aggregation frameworks for efficient data retrieval.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Ensure application security and data protection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks.
- Experience with MongoDB, including a deep understanding of aggregation pipelines.
- Knowledge of GraphQL for API development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, CloudWatch, and EC2.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, specifically Stripe.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Instagram or Facebook APIs.
- Experience working with webhooks.
Working Conditions:
- This is a remote position; however, candidates must be available to work during fixed Indian working hours.
