Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage FortiGate Firewalls and network security solutions.
- Deploy and manage Wireless Access Points and enterprise wireless networks.
- Handle firewall configuration including NAT, Routing, VPN, Security Policies, HA, and Security Profiles.
- Perform network and security POCs, audits, and solution assessments.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and provide timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, wireless devices, and other network infrastructure.
- Work with customers to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Prepare network diagrams, implementation documents, configuration documents, and reports.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal teams for technical escalations.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and technical training for customers and junior engineers.
- Participate in implementation and migration projects as required.
Technical Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in Networking / Network Security.
- Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewall.
- Good experience with Wireless Access Points and enterprise wireless solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching.
- Experience with VPN – IPsec & SSL VPN.
- Knowledge of NAT, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN.
- Experience with Firewall Policies, Security Profiles, High Availability (HA), and VDOM.
- Good troubleshooting skills across network and security infrastructure.
- Experience with networking products such as Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Brocade, etc., is an added advantage.
Certifications
- NSE 4 certification is preferred.
- CCNA / CCNP / PCNSE certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a technical team.
- Experience in handling enterprise customers and network implementation projects.
- Willingness to travel for customer implementations and support when required.
Preferred Candidate: Candidates with strong hands-on experience in FortiGate Firewall, Wireless Access Points, Enterprise Networking, and NSE4 certification will be highly preferred.
