Role Description
The Senior Network Engineer role is a full-time position based on-site in Canada. The individual in this role will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable network infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing network administration tasks, ensuring network availability and performance, identifying and troubleshooting network issues, and implementing security protocols to safeguard data and systems. The engineer will collaborate with multiple teams to develop and deploy secure, efficient, and reliable network solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering, including configuration, management, and monitoring
- Expertise in Troubleshooting processes to resolve technical challenges efficiently
- Strong knowledge of Network Security principles and practices to protect digital assets
- Experience in Network Design and implementation of scalable, high-performance network solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with networking protocols, hardware, and software
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred
- Experience with cloud-based network infrastructures is an advantage
