JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Network Switching, Enterprise Wi-Fi, and Wireless Controller (WLC) Configuration & Troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across customer environments.
This role requires extensive travel to customer locations across India for project implementation, migration, and support activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Switching & Routing
•Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
•Implement VLANs, Trunking, STP/RSTP/MSTP, EtherChannel, and routing protocols.
•Perform switch installation, migration, firmware upgrades, and optimization.
•Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Wireless & WLC Administration
•Configure and manage Enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
•Deploy and administer Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).Configure SSIDs, WLANs, AP Groups, Wireless Security Policies, and Guest Access.
•Install, configure, and troubleshoot Wireless Access Points.
•Perform RF optimization and wireless performance tuning.
•Troubleshoot roaming, authentication, connectivity, and interference-related issues.
Project Implementation
•Participate in network deployment and migration projects.
•Conduct site readiness assessments and implementation activities.
•Prepare project documentation, implementation plans, and handover documents.
•Coordinate with customers and internal teams throughout project execution.
Network Support
•Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.
•Monitor network health and ensure service availability.
•Provide technical support during project and post-deployment phases.
