Role Description
This is a full-time, role based in Canada for a Senior Network Administrator. The role involves managing and maintaining enterprise-level networks, troubleshooting connectivity issues, implementing network security protocols, and providing technical support. The Senior Network Administrator will also be responsible for system administration tasks, including configuring and optimizing network systems and responding to critical incidents in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Network Administration and System Administration, including managing enterprise-level networks and server infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting network and system-related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining robust Network Security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Proven ability to offer comprehensive Technical Support to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of network protocols, tools, and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud networking environments and virtualization is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
