Job Title: Senior NetSuite Engineer (Techno-Functional) (SuiteScript + ERP)
Location: Remote

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant to support and optimize a complex, customized NetSuite environment. This is not a standard admin role. You will work in a post-implementation environment, improving existing customizations, stabilizing systems, and supporting business-critical processes across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. You will act as a bridge between technical development and business operations, ensuring NetSuite is scalable, reliable, and aligned with real-world workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
NetSuite Development & Customization
- Develop, maintain, and optimize NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x
- Build and enhance workflows, custom records, saved searches, and dashboards
- Review, troubleshoot, and refactor existing scripts for performance and scalability
System Administration & Optimization
- Configure NetSuite modules, roles, permissions, and system settings
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and system reliability
- Support reporting, dashboards, and business insights
Business Process Alignment
- Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Sales
- Support and optimize:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Inventory, WMS, and fulfillment workflows
- Pricing, promotions, and item structures
- Build and support integrations with external systems (WMS, CRM, EDI, e-commerce, shipping)
- Troubleshoot data flow issues, sync failures, and system dependencies
- Work with APIs (REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk) and middleware tools
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience
- Strong expertise in SuiteScript 2.x (must-have)
- Experience in both NetSuite development and administration
- Deep understanding of ERP processes (O2C, P2P, Inventory, Finance)
- Proven experience working in customized / post-implementation environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in distribution, warehouse, or inventory-heavy environments
- Exposure to WMS, EDI, or supply chain systems
- Experience with middleware tools like Celigo or Boomi
- Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics / advanced reporting
