About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Azure Cosmos DB and a solid background in Cards & Payments or Open Banking environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing scalable financial systems, ensuring secure and high-performance payment processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET / C#.
- Build and optimize data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
- Develop and integrate APIs supporting Cards, Payments, or Open Banking platforms.
- Work with microservices architecture and cloud-native development practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with banking and financial industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in .NET / C# development.
- Strong experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience working in Cards, Payments, or Open Banking domains.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of secure API design and financial data protection.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Functions, API Management, and Event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, card transaction processing, or ISO 8583/ISO 20022.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
