Role: Naval Architect (Design & Calculations)
đź“Ť Location: Pipavav, Gujarat
🧑 💼 Experience: 10–15 Years
🔹 Preferred Industry Background:
Candidates from Shipbuilding Companies or Design Consulting Firms (Marine/Offshore) will be preferred.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead and execute naval architectural design activities for marine/shipbuilding projects.
2) Perform and validate engineering calculations (stability, strength, hydrodynamics, etc.)
3) Review and approve design drawings and technical documentation.
4) Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, class societies, and clients.
5) Provide technical support during project execution and site visits.
6) Ensure compliance with classification society rules and industry standards.
🔹 Key Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Naval Architecture.
2) Proven experience in core naval architecture design & analysis.
3) Strong knowledge of ship design software/tools.
4) Hands-on experience with class approvals and regulatory compliance.
5) Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
