Job Description – Mw Engineer (coherence, Mantas, Trb)

Role Summary
The Senior Middleware Engineer specializing in Oracle Coherence, Oracle Mantas (FCCM), and TRB is responsible for supporting and managing enterprise caching, financial crime compliance, and transaction risk-related middleware infrastructure. This role ensures performance, availability, and reliability of these specialized platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Oracle Coherence in-memory data grid clusters for caching and distributed computing
- Support Oracle Mantas (Financial Crime and Compliance Management) platform operations and integration
- Administer TRB (Transaction Risk and Banking) middleware components and related data pipelines
- Monitor Coherence cluster health, cache hit rates, and memory utilization
- Troubleshoot Mantas scenario execution, data ingestion issues, and alert generation failures
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for Coherence and Mantas environments
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and application teams to support regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain operational documentation, change records, and incident management reports
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of middleware engineering experience with exposure to Oracle Coherence and compliance platforms
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Coherence including cluster configuration, partitioned cache, and near-cache patterns
- Working knowledge of Oracle Mantas or FCCM (Financial Crime Compliance Management) platform
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring, AML, and compliance data workflows
- Strong Unix/Linux skills and scripting ability (Shell, Python)
- Experience with Oracle Database and SQL for data troubleshooting and reporting
- Understanding of high-availability patterns and distributed system architectures
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets domain
- Knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking middleware integrations
- Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks (Basel III, FATCA, AML)
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Oracle certifications are an advantage
