Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for a Senior MongoDB DBA. The role involves managing and optimizing MongoDB databases, including database design, configuration, and maintenance. The Senior MongoDB DBA will troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensure high availability, and oversee replication processes. Collaboration with development teams to ensure seamless database integration and operations is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Database Administration and Database Design
- Proficiency in managing Databases and implementing Replication processes
- Exceptional Troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve database performance issues efficiently
- In-depth knowledge of MongoDB management and optimization techniques
- Experience with cloud-based database management and remote collaboration tools
- Knowledge on other database systems such as MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL is an added advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certifications in MongoDB or related database technologies (preferred)
