About Credfix
Credfix is building the technology and support infrastructure to help people navigate complex loan-related challenges.
Millions of borrowers struggle with overdue loans, multiple EMIs, persistent recovery calls, legal notices, and uncertainty about what to do next. Credfix brings together technology, AI, data, and expert support to help customers understand their situation, take the right next steps, and work towards resolving their loan-related issues.
We are building a customer-first platform where complex financial problems can be handled through simple, guided, and technology-enabled experiences.
As an early-stage company, we operate with a strong bias towards ownership, speed, experimentation, and measurable outcomes. Every team member is expected to solve problems end-to-end, challenge assumptions, and turn ideas into execution.
What will you own
- You will own the CredFix consumer app end to end — architecture, code, releases, and what users experience on their phones.
- Take the Flutter codebase from early stage to a production app on both stores, and own the architecture decisions that get it there.
- Build the shared component library and design system in Flutter, so screens are assembled rather than rewritten.
- Set the low-level design standard: clean layering, state management, dependency boundaries, and code a new joiner can read.
- Own the release pipeline — build flavours, signing, CI/CD, staged rollouts, crash and performance monitoring, and the response when a release goes wrong.
- Integrate what a lending app needs: KYC and document capture, payment and UPI flows, push notifications, deep links, and secure local storage.
- Work directly with design, product, and backend to decide what ships, and say plainly when something should not.
Skills And Experience Required
- 5+ years building mobile applications, with at least 3 years of production Flutter and Dart. Apps you have shipped and maintained on the Play Store and App Store — tell us which ones, and what you owned in them.
- Deep Flutter fundamentals: widget lifecycle, render pipeline, custom widgets, animations, and debugging jank with DevTools.
- A considered position on state management (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider or similar) and a clear reason for it, not a preference by habit.
- Clean, modular app architecture: clear separation of UI, domain, and data; dependency injection; testable code; reusable components rather than copy-paste screens.
- REST API integration done properly — error and retry handling, offline and poornetwork behaviour, caching, and local persistence.
- Enough native Android and iOS to write a platform channel, read a native crash log, and handle permissions, background work, and store review issues yourself.
- Release ownership: CI/CD for mobile, versioning and rollout strategy, crash reporting, and performance monitoring in production.
- Testing habits you do not need to be reminded about — widget and unit tests, plus whatever integration coverage the risk warrants.
What we're looking for
- Strong ownership and ability to independently drive work from problem identification to execution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and strong stakeholder-management skills.
- Bias towards action and ability to execute with limited supervision.
- Comfort working with data and using it to make decisions — for a mobile owner, that means funnel drop-offs, crash rates, ANRs, and app-size and start-up budgets.
- Ability to identify problems, challenge existing approaches, and propose practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and a high bar for execution, including the pixels.
Nice to Have
None of these are filters. Each one shortens your ramp-up.
- Fintech, lending, or payments apps — KYC, e-sign, credit bureau flows, UPI, or anything that had to pass a security review.
- Experience taking an app through Play Store and App Store review for a regulated financial product.
- Native Android or iOS background — Kotlin or Swift — before or alongside Flutter.
- Accessibility, localisation, and building for low-end Android devices and patchy networks.
- Published packages, open-source contributions, or an app of your own we can download.
- Early-stage startup experience, where the requirements changed under you and you shipped anyway.
Why Credfix?
- High Ownership: Take responsibility for meaningful problems and see your work through to impact — here, that means the app is yours, not a ticket queue.
- Fast Learning: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across product, growth, operations, and technology.
- Real Impact: Build products and processes that solve meaningful problems for customers.
- AI + Technology: Work at the intersection of AI, technology, data, and financial services.
- Build From Scratch: Help shape processes, systems, and ways of working as the company scales — including the mobile architecture everyone who joins after you will work inside.
Who will thrive here?
You will do well at Credfix if you:
- Take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out yourself.
- Prefer execution over excessive planning.
- Use data and customer insights to make decisions.
- Are willing to challenge assumptions when something doesn't make sense.
- Move quickly, learn from failures, and iterate.
- Care about the quality and measurable impact of your work.
What can you expect
- A high-ownership environment with significant responsibility — you will be the senior voice on mobile.
- Direct exposure to business, product, and growth decisions.
- Opportunities to work across functions and take on broader responsibilities.
- A team that values speed, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
