Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Penetration Tester with deep expertise in Android and iOS security assessments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience identifying vulnerabilities in mobile applications, APIs, and backend integrations while providing practical remediation recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform security assessments of Android and iOS applications.
- Conduct static and dynamic application security testing.
- Perform API security assessments supporting mobile applications.
- Reverse engineer mobile applications to identify security weaknesses.
- Assess authentication, authorization, encryption, secure storage, jailbreak/root detection, SSL pinning, and business logic flaws.
- Validate OWASP Mobile Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concepts for identified vulnerabilities.
- Prepare detailed technical and executive assessment reports.
- Work closely with development teams to support remediation and re-validation.
- Stay updated on emerging mobile attack techniques and security research.
Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of penetration testing experience.
- Strong expertise in Android and iOS application security.
- Experience bypassing SSL pinning, root/jailbreak detection, and runtime protections.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and OAuth/JWT authentication.
- Excellent report writing and client communication skills.
