1. Senior Staff Accountant
Focus: Quality Control, Client Strategy & Technical Mastery
- Education: * Chartered Accountant (CA) / Inter-CA or CPA/ACCA candidate.
- B.COM/M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 5+ years of dedicated US Accounting experience.
- Technical Core:
- Expertise in Accrual Basis accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Expert-level QuickBooks Online/Xero (including complex 3rd party integrations like Bill.com or ADP).
- Daily Ownership: * Reviewing daily GL entries to ensure the Senior Management and US Clients see "clean" books every morning.
- Proactively solving discrepancies in bank feeds or payroll runs without being asked.
- Independence: Serving as the "Virtual Controller" for the client.
2. Mid-Level Staff Accountant
Focus: Process Consistency, Compliance & Independent Execution
- Education: * B.Com / M.Com with 3–5 years of experience in the US offshore industry.
- Mandatory QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero Advisor certification.
- Technical Core:
- US Payroll: Daily management of payroll cycles and tracking all transactions across different US states.
- Month-End Close: Executing the daily steps required to ensure a smooth month-end (Prepaids, Accruals, Amortization).
- Excel Mastery: Using advanced functions to audit large datasets for errors.
- Daily Ownership: * Managing the daily "Sub-ledger to GL" flow with zero supervision.
- Understanding the seriousness of Client deadlines and ensuring they are never missed.
3. Junior Staff Accountant (Associate)
Focus: Foundational Precision & Professional Etiquette
- Education: * B.Com Graduate (Freshers with a strong academic record or 1 year of experience).
- Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards.
- Technical Core:
- Data Integrity: High-speed, 100% accurate entry of bills, receipts, and bank transactions.
- US Terminology: Quick mastery of US-specific terms (e.g., Check vs. Cheque, Vendor, EIN, 1099-NEC).
- Document Management: Maintaining a "paperless" audit trail for every transaction daily.
- Daily Ownership: * Treating every $1 entry with the same seriousness as a million-dollar one.
- Career Path: Demonstrating the work ethic and reliability needed to move into a Mid-level role within 12–18 months.
