Role Description The Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Tester role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. The tester will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements, create detailed test cases, and ensure high-quality releases. Daily activities include identifying and documenting defects, performing root-cause analysis, validating fixes, and maintaining test documentation and traceability. The role also involves contributing to test automation initiatives, improving testing processes, mentoring junior testers, and supporting UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM and/or F&O), with hands-on experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in test case design, test planning, and test execution, including use of test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting for Dynamics 365 or related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power Platform, UI automation tools).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and best practices in quality engineering and assurance.
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, create clear test scenarios, and ensure traceability from requirements to test results.
- Strong defect management skills, including documenting issues, collaborating with development teams, and verifying resolutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant testing or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
