Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Central / AL Developer to work on JCR and System Enhancements for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL.
- Build and modify tables, pages, reports, codeunits, queries, extensions and workflows
- Develop JCR functionality including draws, calculations, allocations, reconciliation and reporting
- Develop system enhancements across purchasing, projects, vendors, AP, payments and related workflows
- Develop and maintain Business Central integrations/APIs
- Debug and resolve functional and technical issues
- Perform developer-level testing and support UAT
- Deploy extensions across sandbox/UAT/production environments
- Maintain technical documentation and source control
- Work with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver agreed milestones
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV development
- Strong AL development experience
- Strong understanding of Business Central architecture and extensions
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience with Git and Visual Studio Code / AL Extension
- Experience with Business Central testing, debugging and deployment
- Experience working independently on end-to-end development tasks
- Good understanding of financial, purchasing and project-related Business Central modules
Preferred
- Experience with Jobs/Projects
- Experience with AP, purchasing and payment workflows
- Experience with Business Central upgrades/migrations
- Experience working directly with clients/business users
Key Requirement
The candidate should be capable of independently taking assigned functionality from requirement → development → sandbox testing → UAT support → deployment.
