Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Microbiologist, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Senior Microbiologist will be responsible for overseeing microbiological testing processes, conducting quality control checks, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves supervising laboratory operations, training junior staff, supporting audit processes, and managing the development and validation of microbiological testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Microbiological Testing, Food Testing, Air Testing, and Water Testing procedures
• Proficiency in Calibration, Validation, and Quality Control processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret laboratory results accurately
• Experience in managing a microbiology lab, including supervising teams and overseeing processes
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and NABL accreditation standards
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train and mentor junior staff
