Role Description
Purewood is seeking an experienced Senior Merchant for a full-time, on-site role at our Jodhpur, Boranada facility. The Senior Merchant will oversee the end-to-end process of product development and order execution, liaising with design, production, and logistics teams. Key responsibilities include managing client communications, preparing detailed product specifications, ensuring timely order fulfilment, and maintaining quality standards. The role also involves market trend analysis and vendor management to support sourcing and supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Furniture Development, Production Planning, and Order Management.
- Experience in Client Management and Vendor Management.
- Proficiency in Market Trend Analysis and Sourcing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field; relevant industry experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with furniture manufacturing processes and quality control standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
