Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Merchant located in Moradabad. The Senior Merchant will oversee client relationships, manage product sourcing, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure precise execution of orders. Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, pricing, managing production timelines, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The role also involves market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new product development and strategic growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and price structuring
- Knowledge of product sourcing, supply chain processes, and vendor management
- Strong understanding of market research, trend analysis, and product development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring product quality and timely delivery
- Proficiency in data analysis and using digital tools relevant to merchant operations
- Previous experience in handicrafts or furniture export industries is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
