Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Merchandiser at our New Delhi office. The Senior Merchandiser will oversee merchandise planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination. Key responsibilities include Job Responsibilities:
• Source fabrics, trims, embellishments, and accessories as per design and production requirements.
• Identify, develop, and manage vendors/suppliers for fabrics, embroidery, prints, and garment manufacturing
• Negotiate prices, MOQs, lead times, and quality standards with vendors.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure timely sourcing.
• Track sampling, bulk orders, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure materials meet quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
• Maintain vendor database, costing sheets, and purchase records.
• Stay updated on market trends, raw material prices, and new suppliers.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse stakeholders including clients, artisans, and team members
- Experience in Sales and Retail, with the ability to drive revenue growth and optimize merchandising strategies
- Understanding of Marketing principles and techniques to ensure alignment with brand goals and audience engagement
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills for inventory management and supply chain operations.
