Job Description
(Candidates without B.Tech or M.Tech will not be considered)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP Engineer with strong expertise in BIM-based design and full technical system development. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently handling the complete design, coordination, and technical detailing of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, including all underground and technical infrastructure.
This is a design-driven role, requiring deep engineering capability — not limited to modeling or coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full MEP System Design (Core Requirement)
Independently design and develop:
- Electrical systems (power distribution, load calculations, lighting)
- Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, sewage)
- HVAC systems (ventilation, heating, cooling – where applicable)
- Prepare complete:
- Layouts
- Schematics
- Riser diagrams
- Perform all necessary engineering calculations and system sizing
2. BIM-Based Design & Modeling
Develop and manage MEP models in Autodesk Revit (LOD 300–400)
Produce:
Coordinated layouts (pipes, ducts, cable trays)
Sections and detailed drawings
Conduct clash detection and resolve issues within BIM workflows
Ensure seamless coordination with architectural and structural models
3. Underground & Technical Systems (Critical Scope)
The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in designing:
- Plumbing pits and inspection chambers
- Technical rooms / plant rooms / service rooms
- Water supply systems (storage tanks, distribution systems)
- Drainage systems with proper slope design and network planning
- Sewage treatment systems (including Imhoff tanks / septic systems)
- Rainwater drainage and stormwater management systems
- Basement services integration (ventilation, drainage, utilities)
- 4. Electrical Engineering Scope
- Design complete electrical systems including:
- Load calculations and panel design
- Lighting layouts and lux level planning
- Earthing and protection systems
- Cable routing and distribution strategy
- Ensure integration within BIM and architectural constraints
5. Technical Documentation
- Prepare and review:
- Detailed MEP drawings
- Equipment schedules
- Technical specifications
- Support BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
6. Coordination & Execution Support
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams:
- Architecture
- Structural engineering
- Review shop drawings and contractor submissions
- Provide technical input during execution and installation
- Support commissioning and system validation
- Required Qualifications (Mandatory)
- B.Tech / M.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Building Services Engineering
Requirements:
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in MEP design
- Proven ability to deliver complete system design independently
- Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Autodesk Revit (MEP) – Advanced
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks (clash detection)
- Familiarity with MEP design/calculation tools (preferred)
- Core Competencies

We are specifically looking for a candidate who can:
✔ Design complete MEP systems independently
✔ Handle technical rooms, underground services, and infrastructure design
✔ Develop water supply, drainage, and sewage systems end-to-end
✔ Work fully within a BIM-driven environment (Revit-based workflow)
