SENIOR MEP ENGINEER
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and Execution of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Firefighting works as per drawings, specifications as per IS requirements without compromising on Safety, Quality, Budget and Schedule.
- Coordination with client, civil team, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Lead and manage all MEP works on site, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and BMS.
- Review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil execution teams to avoid clashes and ensure sequencing.
- Monitor MEP subcontractors' performance, progress, and quality.
- Oversee material procurement and delivery for MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with MEP specifications, standards, and local codes.
- Lead testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Prepare MEP progress reports and present to project management.
Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in MEP works design and execution.
Major Skills Required:
- Understanding project requirements, specifications, and contractual requirements pertaining to MEP works and design.
- Subcontractor management.
- Communication skills.
- Team player.
Preferable Industry / Country:
Data Centers, Commercial and industrial buildings in India
Conversant with:
- MS Office
- IS codes and BIS standards
- Revit
