Job Description
GreyOrange is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Solution QA to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our advanced robotic systems and solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to design, implement, and execute test plans and strategies for our robotics software and hardware. Your expertise will help enhance the performance and functionality of our cutting-edge automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute functional, integration, and performance testing for software and hardware solutions.
- Identify, record, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for effective resolution.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide insightful reports to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, implementing best practices and tools.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on robotics or automation solutions preferred.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for automation and testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Robot Framework).
- Familiarity with hardware testing and integration in robotics environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
