About the role
As Media Planning Specialist you will help the planning team strategize and plan digital media campaigns for our clients. You will collaborate with various teams, including account managers, creative teams, and data analysts, to develop effective and impactful digital media strategies that align with clients' goals and objectives
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution across digital channels.
- Translate client objectives into actionable media strategies and KPIs
- Conduct audience research, industry trends and recommend targeting criteria as per the brief
Channel Selection & Media Planning
- Evaluate and recommend digital channels (Display, Social, Search, Mobile) for optimal reach and ROI.
- Develop comprehensive media plans including budget allocation, media mix, and timelines.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee campaign setup, pacing checks, and provide optimization recommendations.
- Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
Reporting & Analysis
- Conduct mid and post-campaign analysis to identify insights and improvement areas.
- Prepare detailed performance reports for stakeholders using tools like GA4, LookerStudio, Adobe Analytics etc.
Team Guidance
- Provide direction and mentorship to Analysts and Associates.
- Assist in building and transitioning solutions and processes for assigned accounts.
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
- A full-time graduate degree (Mandatory)
- 5 to 8 years of experience in digital media planning, preferably in an agency environment.
- Expertise in Planning tools like GWI, Nielsen, ComScore, Pathmatics etc.
- Ability to describe KPIs and their role in the customer journey.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
This may be the right role for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in digital media planning, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and advertising platforms
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
