About the Role
Tangience is looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in HVAC system design, multidisciplinary coordination, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems from concept through detailed engineering.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using HAP.
- Design Chilled Water, VRF, DX, Ventilation, Smoke Management, and Pressurization systems.
- Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBR), BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Size and select HVAC equipment including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and Fans.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and BIM teams.
- Review vendor technical submittals and support construction-stage technical queries.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and ECBC standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10–15 years of experience in HVAC design within an MEP Consulting environment.
- Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use projects is preferred.
