Mechanical Design Engineer
Qualification: B.E/M.Tech in Mechanical
Experience: 6+ Years
Skills:
· Design and develop ATE (Automated Test Equipment), mechanical systems including machines and assemblies
· Mechanical Design: Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and specifications using SolidWorks
· Fixture Development: Design and develop mechanical fixtures, handlers, in coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.
· Documentation: Prepare design specifications, technical reports, BOM, detailed drawings with GD&T, and operational manuals.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Electrical, software, Project Managers, and teams to gather project requirements and ensure timely delivery
· Project Management: Estimate cost and timelines for ATE development, plan and execute projects as per schedule
· Procurement Coordination: Prepare BOM, coordinate with purchase and logistics teams for timely delivery of components and manage supplier integration activities.
· Pro-efficient in Sheet metal design
· Pro-efficient in SolidWorks is a must
· Capable to own the project delivery completely (from concept to release)
· Good Knowledge of Material Selection, Machining and Fabrication process and post processing operations.
