Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and products. You will create detailed product designs, perform CAD modeling, work on machine and product design, and provide technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and compliance with industry standards.
Experience Required: 4–7 Years Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent)
Prior experience in presales, proposal generation, or customer-facing technical roles is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong design engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering skills
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong Knowledge of SolidWorks
- Proficient in CATIA V5 R2016 and SolidWorks 2015 or later
- Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software
- Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software
- Experience in product development is beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C++ is a plus
- Collaborating on software development projects with engineering, sales, and customer service departments.
- Liaising with clients and incorporating user-defined needs and feedback into application designs.
- Writing code and scripts for the application, as well as installing, maintaining, and testing applications.
- Providing technical support to our clients and assisting our sales team with software demonstrations and prototypes throughout the sales process.
- Optimizing applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades.
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures while improving code and redesigning tasks.
