We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of next-generation gaming hardware for leading global gaming manufacturers.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in designing complex electro-mechanical products. Experience in Gaming, Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM), Self-Service Kiosks, ATMs, Industrial Equipment, or Consumer Electronics is highly preferred.
You will lead the complete mechanical product development lifecycle-from concept and design through validation and production release-while ensuring product quality, reliability, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization. This role requires close collaboration with Industrial Design, Electrical, Embedded, Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Relevant Experience with Game Development.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
A.Product Design & Development
Lead the mechanical design and development of gaming cabinets, gaming terminals, button decks, topper assemblies, and integrated electro-mechanical systems.
Convert industrial design concepts into manufacturable, production-ready solutions.
Develop detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and technical specifications.
Perform GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack-up analysis, and dimensional validation.
Design durable products for continuous 24/7 Gaming operations.
B.Electronics Integration & Compliance
Integrate displays, touch panels, audio systems, lighting, power supplies, cable harnesses, printers, bill validators, card readers, and cooling systems into mechanical assemblies.
Support compliance with GLI-11, GLI-12, NGCB, UL, CE, FCC, RoHS, ESD, and anti-tamper requirements, including certification documentation.
C.New Product Introduction (NPI)
Lead mechanical engineering activities throughout the NPI lifecycle, including Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, Pilot Build, Production Ramp, and Sustaining Engineering.
Participate in design reviews, engineering changes, and production readiness activities.
D.Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering
Perform basic FEA to validate structural integrity and optimize material selection, weight, and product performance.
Apply DFM, DFA, and DFS principles to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, serviceability, and product cost.
Support manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, die casting, CNC machining, and fabricated assemblies.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve tooling, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
E.Validation & Reliability
Develop and support Design Verification Testing (DVT), including thermal, vibration, fatigue, lifecycle, environmental, and structural testing.
Investigate field failures using Root Cause Analysis and implement design improvements.
F.Product Lifecycle & Collaboration
Manage engineering documentation, BOMs, ECOs, ECNs, and product configurations within PLM/PDM systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Electrical, Embedded Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Compliance, and Program Management.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
