We're hiring: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks) (Exp 5+ years)
DSI ROBOTICS | Noida (Sector 63) | Open to exceptional candidates
DSI ROBOTICS is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer / Team Leader to join our product development team in Noida. If you have a strong background in mechanical design, hands-on SolidWorks expertise, and experience leading delivery-focused teams, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
· Create and maintain 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in SOLIDWORKS.
· Prepare design documentation, validate designs, and generate accurate BOMs.
· Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Assembly teams to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery.
· Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure fit, form, and function.
· Select materials and recommend machining and fabrication processes for cost-effective, reliable solutions.
· Mentor and lead junior designers; drive process improvements and design reviews.
Minimum qualifications & experience
· 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience (experience in robotics or automation is a plus).
· Expert proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (mandatory).
· Practical knowledge of machining, fabrication, and material selection.
· Hands-on experience with GD&T.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD / DraftSight is desirable.
· Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and team leadership experience.
