Purpose of the Role:
To support the India R&D Team for Projects of Cooling units
Outcome Required / Strategic Priorities Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks
• The role is to work on the engineering activities such as detailed design, design calculations, Tolerance stack ups and manufacturing drawings He/ She will be responsible for quality of deliverables of all the activities assigned.
• Working with global and Local engineering team to execute the project
• Expert in Software: Inventor Autodesk, AutoCAD
• Structural Analysis FEA.
• Experience in handling Product life cycle in Vault, Windchill etc.
• Prior experience/exposure to working in global engineering environment involving interactions.
• Experience of prototyping.
• Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute tasks/projects (new development, product improvement, value engineering, analysis, etc) to completion with focus on quality ofdeliverables and the schedule/ timelines

• System prototyping for testing.
• Working on complete NPD process and/or Value Engineering activities (VAVE)
• Exposure for Cross-functional interaction with Production, Sourcing and Quality.
• sheet metal Manufacturing and design Process.
• Exposure to different international regulatory standards.
• Product change management
• FEA software for structural analysis
• Team Management
Organizational / Management / Leadership Role:
Demonstrates ability to work in team environment and collaborate with teams in multiple locations.
Good Communication and excellent presentation skills

Qualification:
Masters or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 3 – 8 years of experience
Skills & Knowledge: Behavioral Competencies:
Hands on experience in Product based
mechanical/manufacturing industry
related to components and subsystem
level design.
Sheet metal Manufacturing and plastic
design Process
NPD process and/or Value Engineering
activities (VAVE)
Exposure to different international
regulatory standards.
Expert in Software: Inventor Autodesk,
AutoCAD
Experience in handling Product life cycle in
Vault, Windchill etc.
Qualification on tool & die making is added
advantage.
Structural Analysis FEA.
Well versed with GD & T
