We are looking for talented Design Engineers to join our growing engineering team and support the design and development of aircraft systems and electro-mechanical components.
Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer – Mechanical (Job ID: JR20260701)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop aircraft mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Review engineering drawings, applicable standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams during product development.
- Support manufacturing, verification, qualification, environmental testing, and airworthiness certification activities.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous product improvements.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace, defence, automotive, or industrial product development.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations, including stress, strength, flow, pressure drop, thermal, and tolerance analyses using hand calculations and engineering software.
- Experience preparing technical reports, design documentation, and engineering presentations.
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of engineering materials, machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools is desirable.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, electro-mechanical components, and aerospace engineering practices.
- Knowledge of aircraft design, development, qualification, and airworthiness certification processes will be an advantage.
