Position Overview: Senior Materials Science Researcher
Voltanova is seeking a Senior Materials Science Researcher with 5+ years of experience in materials science engineering, with a strong focus on high-temperature systems and cutting-edge R&D. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of advanced material development and scalable industrial applications, particularly for thermal energy storage and heating systems. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in simulation tools and have a proven track record of driving innovation in high-performance material systems.
- Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all R&D initiatives related to material development for high-temperature energy systems.
- Spearhead the design, simulation, and optimization of materials using modeling tools.
- Provide technical direction on material selection, performance validation, and failure analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to translate R&D outcomes into real-world deployments.
- Establish long-term research goals aligned with Voltanova’s vision for advanced thermal storage technologies.
- Qualifications:PhD or Master’s degree in Materials Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in materials research and development, ideally in thermal or energy systems.
- Deep expertise in high-temperature materials, including ceramics, graphite, and insulation composites.
- Strong command in simulation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
