Company Description
Ommcom Media, Bhubaneswar, is an Odisha media house — publisher of Ommcom News, producer of documentary films for govt. & private clients, and operator of an OOH/DOOH digital display advertising network reaching audiences statewide.
Qualifications & Experiences
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in advertising sales, OOH/DOOH media
- Experience managing vendor/rental agreements or revenue-share commercial models is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Experience in the outdoor advertising, transit media, or digital signage industry is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard prospective advertisers (brands, agencies, local businesses, government campaigns) for digital display ad inventory
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline; achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and occupancy targets
- Prepare and deliver pitch decks, rate cards, and customized media proposals
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and campaign terms with clients and media/advertising agencies
- Manage rental payouts to the site-owning authority in line with commercial agreements
- Track occupancy levels against rental obligations to ensure commercial viability of the inventory
- Coordinate with internal operations/technical teams to ensure campaigns are executed on schedule
- Develop go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and inventory packaging for the display network
- Track competitor activity and market trends in the OOH/DOOH space in Odisha
- Manage post-sale client relationships to drive renewals and repeat business
- Prepare and share regular sales, pipeline, and revenue reports with leadership
Key Skills
- Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of commercial/rental agreement management
- Excellent communication skills in English and Odia (Hindi preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office/PowerPoint for pitch preparation
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field travel across Odisha
