We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester with strong experience in the Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in manual testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
- Prepare and maintain test documentation in Confluence
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a QA perspective
- Support test planning and contribute to overall QA strategy
- Lead testing activities and mentor junior testers (if applicable)
Skills & Competencies
- Mandatory experience working with QA in Insurance companies
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and processes
- Experience in defect tracking and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- ISTQB certification is mandatory
- Prior Test Lead experience is an added advantage
Domain-Specific Requirements
- Strong understanding of Insurance domain processes (e.g., Policy, Claims, Underwriting, etc.)
- Experience working on insurance-related applications/systems
Soft Competencies
- Strong analytical thinking for effective test case design
- High attention to detail in identifying and reporting defects
- Good team leadership and collaboration skills
- Effective communication skills
