Key Responsibilities:
Lead system-level and product-level acceptance testing for aerospace and defence programs.
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, verification plans, and validation frameworks.
Ensure compliance with aerospace, defence, and transportation regulatory standards.
Manage cross-functional teams including test engineers, system engineers, and quality assurance teams.
Oversee test execution, defect identification, root cause analysis, and closure.
Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Ensure test labs, tools, and infrastructure meet program and safety requirements.
Review and approve test documentation, reports, and certification artifacts.
Mentor and develop high-performing test engineering teams.
Drive continuous improvement in test processes, methodology, and automation.
Mandatory Skills:
Expertise in system and product acceptance testing for aerospace or defence systems.
Strong knowledge of DO-178, DO-254, AS9100, MIL-STD standards, or equivalent.
Experience in test planning, execution, verification, and validation.
Hands-on experience with aerospace communication protocols, avionics systems, or defence-grade embedded systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation frameworks and test management tools.
Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
Understanding of transportation sector test processes.
Experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering programs.
Exposure to safety-critical systems and certification processes.
