Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to fill the role of Senior Manager/Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager. In this full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, the selected candidate will oversee the end-to-end execution of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional project teams, defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, monitoring risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The role also involves providing leadership to team members, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management and Program Management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to meet goals within timelines and budgets.
- Excellent Team Leadership and Communication skills, including the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and effectively convey project progress to stakeholders.
- Highly developed Analytical Skills for identifying risks, solving complex problems, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in creating and implementing strategic approaches to meet long-term organizational objectives.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing technical teams or projects, especially within the financial technology domain, is an advantage.
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech / M.Sc / MCA in Computer Science
Roles & Responsibilities of Technical Project/Programme Manager:
- Consistently delivering projects to agreed success criteria, managing change effectively.
- Strategic client projects (integration of new products and services) and the high-profile internal projects
- Providing leadership across multiple projects.
- Should act as a bridge between technical & business aspects of an organization.
- Should have visibility on cloud computing architecture.
- Identify, define, and manage all aspects of projects and projects scope including, but not limited to, the overall program project plan, execution, resource management, issue tracking, quality, change management, risk management, cost-centre analysis, communications, and budget.
- Oversee teams working on client engagements, manage internal resources
- Possess an understanding of company offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
- Keep tab on emerging technologies to be analysed, assimilated, and integrated within organization in a streamlined approach.
- Envisage short-term and long-term goals for business, technology.
As a Technical Project/Program Manager you must have:
- Solid experience as a Project Manager, with end-to-end responsibility for delivery.
- Experience managing a variety of technology projects(preferably Dot Net Technologies like, C#, SQL, Angular, WebAPI, MVC, .NET Core latest, Design patterns/principles, Performance benchmarking, Infrastructure/Network sizing concepts relevant in web-modules, etc.) in Banking Platform and Solutions.
- Strong exposure on Micro-Service based architecture with interoperable channels.
- Should have the zeal to study FinTech market and understand enterprise thought process in the areas involving; Customer onboarding journeys like Micro-credit, MSME Loans, Gold Loans, Individual-Business loans etc. Should appreciate building accounting pieces part of loan management solutions.
- Proven track record of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions. Managing strategic initiatives that span departments and business units.
- Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress. Define Program’s governance structure and tracks meticulously.
- Experience managing a variety of project management methods, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, hybrid.
- Thorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective action
- PMI, PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Very good in analytical/logical thought-process and decision maker.
- Building relationship with vendors, co-ordinating IT Managers, etc.
- Should handle/manage team size not less than 100 in daily reporting activities, appraisals, accountability.
