Role Overview
We are looking for a platform-native Social Media Lead to own MobiKwik social presence end-to-end: from strategy and content to analytics and creator partnerships. This is a team lead role, and the hired candidate will work closely with marketing, product and business teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who has inherent understanding of social: how feeds work, why content travels, and how to build a brand voice that resonates across formats. They should be equally comfortable writing a strategy deck or a brief, reviewing creative or analytics, and managing an influencer roster.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Platform Ownership
• Own the social media strategy for MobiKwik across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms
• Build and manage a monthly content calendar aligned to brand campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments
• Lead relationships with our social media agencies to ensure timely delivery of all things social
• Define platform-specific tone, format, and content mix (educational, engagement, brand, product)
• Drive follower growth, engagement, and share-of-voice benchmarks in the fintech category
Creative and Content
• Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-impact social campaigns in partnership with the agencies
• Develop formats that balance brand-building with product storytelling across categories in focus in alignment with business teams
• Maintain brand voice consistency while adapting tone for platform and audience context
Influencer & Creator Management
• Build and manage MobiKwik creator and influencer programme across macro, micro, and nano tiers
• Source, onboard, brief, and evaluate influencers for both organic amplification and paid campaigns
• Develop a measurement framework tracking reach, engagement quality, conversions, and brand lift from creator partnerships
• Manage agency and freelance resources for content production where required
Analytics & Reporting
• Own monthly social dashboards tracking reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, and content performance
• Conduct competitive social benchmarking against key fintech and consumer app brands
• Use data to iterate content strategy, identify winning formats, and inform campaign planning
• Present performance reviews and strategic recommendations to brand leadership
What We are Looking For
Experience & Background
• 8–10 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3–4 years in a lead or ownership role
• Demonstrated track record of growing brand social presence (follower growth, engagement, earned reach) in a consumer-facing brand
• Hands-on experience managing influencer programmes; not just coordination, but briefing, creative evaluation, and measurement
• Experience in fintech, BFSI, consumer internet, or e-commerce strongly preferred
Skills & Capabilities
• Deep platform fluency across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X: understanding of algorithm
behaviour, content formats, and audience dynamics
• Strong creative eye: ability to evaluate scripts, visual concepts, and copy with a platform-native lens
• Analytical mindset: comfortable reading dashboards, interpreting engagement data, and translating insights into content decisions
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
