Role Description The Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Chengalpattu. This position is responsible for leading regional sales and marketing strategies, setting targets, and driving revenue growth in alignment with company objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, overseeing marketing campaigns, and coordinating with internal teams such as production and engineering to support customer requirements. The role also involves analyzing market trends, preparing sales forecasts, monitoring performance metrics, and presenting regular reports to senior leadership. The Senior Manager will recruit, mentor, and guide the sales and marketing team to ensure high performance, strong customer relationships, and effective brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, including setting targets, managing pipelines, and closing complex deals in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong marketing capabilities, such as developing go-to-market plans, overseeing campaigns, and building brand awareness in B2B markets.
- Ability to analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive activity to shape strategies and improve sales performance.
- Proven skills in team management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and finance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in electrical/electronic manufacturing or industrial products is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Chengalpattu and traveling as needed to meet customers and attend industry events.
