About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Sales to lead a high-performing Inside Sales and Outreach function. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enrollment targets, operational excellence, and team performance across a portfolio of programs.
The successful candidate will manage a multi-layered sales organization comprising Team Leaders and Program Advisors while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver revenue, enrollment, and business growth targets for an assigned portfolio of programs.
- Lead and manage a large Inside Sales and Outreach team through Team Leaders and Program Advisors.
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring and improving key sales productivity and performance metrics.
- Partner with Revenue, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to maximize program performance and business outcomes.
- Ensure effective prospect engagement through phone, email, chat, video conferencing, and other outreach channels.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including conversion rates, productivity, talk time, dial efficiency, first-time-to-attempt, average handling time, and lead management metrics.
- Develop and execute action plans for underperforming programs and ensure rapid turnaround of business-critical initiatives.
- Drive workforce planning and staffing strategies to support business requirements across shifts, regions, and program portfolios.
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and sales processes to improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience benchmarks.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and sales teams to build a high-performance culture.
- Represent the Sales and Outreach function in cross-functional reviews and leadership discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of sales experience with significant exposure to Inside Sales and team management.
- Proven experience managing large sales teams of 50+ members, preferably through Team Leaders or second-line management structures.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving revenue, enrollment, and business growth targets.
- Strong experience in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-oriented environment.
