Role Description The Senior Manager QC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing all quality control activities, including planning and executing QC processes, monitoring product and process compliance, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations. The Senior Manager QC will lead and mentor the QC team, review quality documentation and reports, analyze data to identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves collaborating with production, procurement, and management teams to resolve quality issues, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in quality control, with proven experience in managing QC operations and teams.
- Solid understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems (such as ISO or equivalent frameworks).
- Ability to analyze data and quality metrics, generate reports, and use findings to drive process improvements.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with production, supply chain, and senior leadership to maintain quality objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide and develop team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications in quality management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment in a senior QC is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
