Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Manager – Purchase for our Greater Noida location. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading and strengthening the procurement function.
The role involves driving strategic sourcing initiatives, managing vendor relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring the timely availability of quality materials. The incumbent will play a critical role in optimizing procurement processes, improving cost efficiencies, and aligning purchasing strategies with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing procurement strategies
- Vendor identification, evaluation, and performance management
- Contract negotiation and cost optimization
- Inventory planning and control
- Monitoring market trends and price movements
- Ensuring compliance with internal systems (ERP) and processes
- Collaborating with production, planning, and finance teams for seamless operations
Qualifications & Skills- Strong experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of raw materials such as fasteners, sheet metal, and related engineering components
- Proven expertise in vendor development, negotiation, and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven decision-making
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Exposure to export/import processes and global sourcing is an added advantage
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS / CPM will be an added advantage.
