Job Title: Senior Manager- Operational Risk (Digital Banking Products)
Experience Required- 5- 8 Years
Location- Gurugram

Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Business Controls Lead with strong experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls, and Product Audit within digital banking. This role will partner closely with Product, Ops, Risk, Compliance, and Tech teams to build strong control frameworks, manage operational risks, and ensure regulatory compliance across digital financial products.
The ideal candidate is highly comfortable with data, dashboards, and analytics-driven risk monitoring.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Assess end-to-end digital product journeys (Savings, Current Accounts, Wallets, UPI, AePS, DMT, FASTag, etc.) to identify operational, regulatory, and financial risks.
- Design & test internal controls (Design & Operating Effectiveness). Drive and implement RCSA framework across products and business units. Manage operational risk events, loss data, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitor and report KRIs; escalate breaches. Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, CSITE and outsourcing guidelines.
- Conduct third-party/vendor risk assessments (including cyber risk). Prepare risk dashboards and board-level risk reports.
- Lead thematic reviews and strengthen risk culture across teams.
Ideal candidate profile
- 5+ years in Operational Risk / Internal Controls / Product Audit in Indian BFSI.
- Strong exposure to digital banking & NPCI payment products (UPI, AePS, DMT, Wallets, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with RCSA, control testing, ORM frameworks. Strong data comfort dashboards, analytics, trend analysis.
- Experience in Payments Bank / Digital Bank preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management & cross-functional collaboration skills.
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in finance / risk / business.
- Certifications such as CRISC, FRM, CA, CISA are a plus.
