Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Business Development to support the growth of partnerships across India’s fintech and financial services ecosystem.
This role focuses on identifying and developing group affinity and institutional insurance programs with NBFCs, fintechs, and financial institutions. The role involves driving new partner acquisition, supporting program structuring, and working closely with internal teams to successfully launch insurance programs with partner ecosystems.
You will contribute to the partnership lifecycle from opportunity identification to program launch and early revenue scaling.
Key Responsibilities
•Identify and engage with NBFCs, fintech platforms, and institutional financial partners for potential insurance partnerships
•Support the structuring and launch of group affinity and embedded insurance programs aligned with partner ecosystems
•Drive partner acquisition efforts including prospecting, outreach, and relationship development
•Manage relationships with business heads, product leaders, and partnership teams within partner organizations
•Work with internal teams across product, operations, and insurer partners to support program implementation
•Contribute to revenue growth through new partnerships and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Requirements
•4–6 years of experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech partnerships, or enterprise sales
•Experience working on group insurance programs, institutional partnerships, or credit protection products
•Exposure to selling or partnering with NBFCs, fintech platforms, or financial institutions
•Strong ability to build relationships and drive partnership conversations
•Experience managing business development pipelines and partnership opportunities
Good to Have
•Exposure to embedded insurance or partner-led distribution models
•Understanding of insurance product structures and affinity program models
•Experience working with fintech or digital lending ecosystems
•MBA or equivalent professional qualification
